Dendritic cell therapy

Empowering the immune system to fight against cancer

Dendritic cells, also known as antigen-presenting cells, are used to target and destroy cancer cells circulating in the blood. By identifying specific antigens in cancer cells, this innovative therapy stimulates the immune system’s response against the disease.

How it works?

Individualized dendritic therapies begin with isolating dendritic cells and circulating tumor cells (CTCs) from the patient’s blood sample.

Through careful analysis, the most frequently expressed cancer protein is identified and imprinted onto dendritic cells. These dendritic cells are then multiplied into millions and prepared for administration back to the patient.

The goal is to prime dendritic cells to educate T cells and B cells to recognize and attack cancer epitopes, providing a personalized approach to cancer treatment.

How it helps?

Dendritic cells play a crucial role in initiating immune responses by presenting foreign cells to the immune system.
By stimulating immune cells and providing long-lasting memory, dendritic cell therapy strengthens the immune system’s ability to target and eliminate cancer cells effectively.

Why choose Dendritic cell therapy?

Dendritic cell therapy offers patients the potential for long-term immunity against cancer cells.

By empowering the immune system to recognize and destroy cancer cells, this therapy provides a promising avenue for cancer treatment.

Dendritic cell boosters can be administered if needed to maintain potency and memory, ensuring ongoing effectiveness in combating the disease.

Why clinicians prefer Dendritic cell therapy than other similar tests?

Dr Meghan Watts

Now, the Circulating Tumour Cells (CTCs) and these Circulating Tumour Cells are grown in the lab and tested against anti-cancer drugs for efficacy (Similar to urine culture for urinary tract infection). Research Genetic Cancer Center (RGCC) in Greece conducts this test. Just by taking a 10ml blood sample, the most effective anti-cancer medicine can be given to patients. In the future, there will not be Breast Oncologists, Musculoskeletal Oncologists, or Head and Neck Oncologists. Only Gene-based Cancer Treatment. The future of oncology is tailor-made Gene-Based Cancer treatment.

Useful Information

One dose every 21 days for three total doses.

Patients need to avoid chemotherapy, targeted therapies, radiation, IVs, and Ozone therapy 7 days before dendritic cell therapy administration.

Mandatory Follow-up Immune Frame and Oncotrace. The goal is to develop a long-term immune response. You should expect to see:

>30 on both CD80 & CD86 memory cells

>1.0 on CD28 memory cells

    Frequently Asked Questions

    • Can tests be conducted during ongoing treatment?

Absolutely, tests can be performed while undergoing treatment to assess the effectiveness of the treatment against cancer.

    • What happens to my blood sample post-testing?

Your blood sample undergoes processing in cutting-edge laboratories by scientists and technicians to deliver insights into your cancer cells. Once testing is complete, your sample is stored for up to six months in case further analysis is needed.

    • Is a blood sample sufficient?

Yes, all RGCC tests utilize blood samples. However, certain cancers, like glioblastoma and brain tumors, may require additional samples such as CSF or tissue. Otherwise, a peripheral blood sample alone is enough.

    • Can the origin of a tumor be determined by the tests?

Yes, tests like aCGH can pinpoint the origin of an unknown primary tumor by analyzing genetic abnormalities present in tumor cells.

    • What tests are effective in identifying the emergence of secondary tumors?

RGCC tests like Metastat accurately detect the development of secondary tumors.

    • How do tests personalize cancer treatment?

Tests personalize treatment regimens by providing crucial information on drugs and therapies tailored to effectively target cancer cells.

    • What are CTCs and CSCs?

Circulating Tumor Cells (CTCs) are cancer cells that have detached from the primary tumor and circulate in the bloodstream. Cancer Stem Cells (CSCs) are a subpopulation of CTCs and both serve as biomarkers for cancer.

    • Do tests reveal drug resistance and sensitivity?

Indeed, tests are designed to reveal whether cancer cells are resistant or sensitivity to specific drugs and treatments.
